African Americans Living with Lupus: Community Conversation will raise public awareness about the complexities of lupus, the importance of early identification and diagnosis, and effective lupus care management.

Physicians, patient advocates and lawmakers will come together to discuss the importance of clinical trials as well as the importance of diversity in clinical research. Additionally, the program will enhance and leverage local, regional, and national partnerships to provide information and resources for lupus patients, caregivers, and health care providers.
