Yoon’s debut novel, Everything, Everything, made Yoon the first Black woman to hit #1 on the New York Times Young Adult list. Her second novel, The Sun Is Also a Star, also rocketed to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Both novels were made into major motion pictures.
